Materials & Methods:
ATP ADP and AMP standards for HPLC were prepared from Sigma (St. Louis MO) reagents. A dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) stock of CCCP (10 mM; Sigma) was used. The dilution factor for the DMSO stock was 1:1000.
